I actually liked the song but now I absolutely hate it, knowing that they lifted most of its tune down to the acoustics from an older song from the 80′s, “The Chandeliers” sung by The Care. What’s ironic is the song’s message of how we should be proud of being Filipino and show the world what we’re capable of. I wonder if the band Orange and Lemons realize that copyright infringement isn’t something to be proud of.

It’s a shame that ABS-CBN didn’t recognize this from the beginning. Although the show is a franchise, its theme song is blatantly unoriginal.

It’s a competition to find the best loveTEAM! That’s why I don’t get why Pawel won. It’s supposed to be a team competition. Although I don’t agree that Paw can act well, let’s just say for argument’s sake that she can. Well then, that IS NOT ENOUGH to explain why they won. HELLO!!! Ano si Mikel? Props?

Really now, kung fan base ang pagbabasehan, obviously, Jarla should have won. If mass appeal were the criteria then Mhyzel should have won. Or if acting ability and chemistry were the criteria then Jilwyn should have won.

Among the four, Pawel was the least deserving. Doesn’t anybody else think that they were the reason why the number of finalists was made into four instead of three??? Obviously, if a team had to be cut before the finals, it would have been Pawel. Unfortunately for all of us, ABS-CBN played unfairly.

HELLO! Even several Paw fans admit that Paw would have been better off with TJ. Para tayong ginawang tanga ng ABS-CBN. I am bot against Pawel. Although I admittedly hate them, I do not think that their winning should be blamed on them. Rather, it can be said that they did absolutely nothing to contribute to their win. Obviously, hindi sila ang may kagagawan ng pagkapanalo nila.

Call me bitter. But nobody in his right mind can truly deny that there is truth to what I am saying.

Anyhow, magkakaalaman na rin. We’ll see kung aling loveteam ba talaga ang tatagal at bebenta.

Day 34
11:13 pm Racquel praying to thank God that she wasn’t evicted. {The whole Philippines pray with her. Hehe… BYE JB! BYE JB! BYE JB!}
Jayson and Uma tell Racquel not to pack up the next time she gets nominated. {Do I sense bitterness from Uma? Oh, yes, I DO!}
Chx tells Say: Bakit ganun? Kinuha nila sa akin si Rico? Tapos kinuha naman nila sa JB sayo? or something to that effect. {Ineng, matanong nga kita, SAYO BA SI RICO?)
Racquel approaches Say and asks her if Say is angry at her. They hug. Oh, Say is crying and all emo. {HURRAY!}
Uma asks Say to eat. She’s still emo.
Jayson asks Say if she wants him to entertain her. She’s still emo.

2:23 am Say can’t sleep and goes out to the garden to continue her dramathon. Cass follows her and tries to comfort her. She is still emo-ing.

Day 35
10:38 am The housemates discuss the events in their life na pinagsisisihan nila.
BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! More emo-ing from OA Say.

12:35 pm The HMs hear mass. After which, Say and Chx sleep together (no not in that sense you pervs) in the couch.

2:40 pm The HMs get to watch the video of the kids who received the kiddie bicycles they made a week ago.

2:49 pm The HMs talk to Big Bro in the confessional about JB who was booted out last Saturday. I liked what Bob said, na kaginhawaan ang naidulot ng pagkawala ni JB, hehehehehehehe….

2:56 pm The HMs are given their daily task of making OA Say happy.

The episode ends with Say leaving a teary message to JimBoy… ah, eh, JB pala.

Ok, so we all know that Geoff Eigenmann’s (as Third) inclusion in the soap is only a ploy to make the Jasmine-Oliver plot more interesting since they’re already a couple. But it provides for an interesting twist. I personally thought that their part of the story was going to get boring after they became a couple and Zsa Zsa (Marla Boyd) left.

Unless ABS-CBN decides to abandon the very profitable Bea-John Lloyd love team, I think that there is a very slim possibility of Third getting it on (in a wholesome way of course) with Jasmine.

But I think that the Daphne (Vanna Garcia) and Third team-up might be an interesting one.

OUCH moment on Encantadia today…

Looks like Ashton gets a taste of his own medicine! Two guys named Dave and Joey spent 3 days before successfully cracking Kutcher’s voicemail password, which turned out to be a virtual Pandora’s box of revealing messages, particularly one made by a certain Hot Chick and a supposed Drug Dealer.
