In the finale of Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin

Oliver (John Lloyd Cruz) agrees to be a witness gainst Ivan (Diether Ocampo). Ivan admits on court that he did rape Nea (Claudine Barretto). Ivan is declared guilty by the court and he is given a life imprisonment sentence. Roden Ynares (Tirso Cruz III) sees his world crashing right before his very eyes.

Nea is leactured by a nun about love and faith.

Jasmin (Bea Alonzo) breaks up with Oliver. They have their typical restrained crying conversation then Oliver leaves Jasmin.

Karri (Angelika dela Cruz) visits Ivan in prison and tells him she still loves him, they kiss with prison bars in between them. (We all know there is a way for them to see each other without the prison bars, DUH!)

Roden opens his table drawer, revealing a gun. He kills himself. (WOOHOO!)

Oliver and Susana (Hilda Koronel) mourn the death of Redon. Oliver declares his love for his father.

Third (Geoff Eigenmann) professes his love for Jasmin but admits that Jasmin has her heart only for Oliver. But thanks Jasmin anyway.

Jasmin is sitting idly at the park. Oliver comes by and bids Jasmin good bye. He is leaving the country with his mom. He gives back Jasmin the necklace.

Nea visits Ivan in prison and gives him forgiveness.

Nea is walking somewhere, during nighttime. There is a Nea VO that do not sound like Claudine AT ALL. Nea (literally) sees the light and fake CGI white birds fly over her.

Nea bids good bye to Jasmin, Hazel (Shaina Magdayao) and Yolanda (Carmi Martin). She enters the nunnery.

Hazel and Nat (Rayver Cruz) has moments together. And Nat eventually dies. (MWAHAHA!) Hazel cries at Nat’s funeral.

Jasmin and Hazel talk about love and loss at home. Jasmin obviously realizes her mistake of letting go of Oliver.

Jasmin is back on the playground wearing her funeral outfit again which she wasn’t wearing when she was talking to Hazel at their house. ANYWAY, she makes a decision to go after Oliver. SO, in a very unique sequence (Note the sarcasm. DUH!) Jasmin desperately dashes towards the airport, while fake establishing shots of the airport are shown. THEN, (surprise! surprise!) just as Jasmin arrives and emotes at an empty tarmac, she sees that Oliver didn’t leave after all. They slowly walk towards each other with tears on their eyes. Then, another ground-breaking sequence ensues in which they kiss and the world slowly (literally) revolves around them.

Nea is shown praying with her nun garb. Oliver and Jasmin are playing at the playground. Hazel is shown playing her guitar at the cemetery and sees Nat’s ghost. Third and Daphne (Vanna Garcia) are shown giving each other goo-goo eyes. Yolanda visits Elena (Jackielyn Jose) and Larry (Noni Buencamino) graves. Susana is hugging a picture of Roden, Ivan and Oliver. Nea and Kathleen Hermosa‘s character are shown doing charity work. Karri and Ivan are being wed inside the prison.

More shots of Oliver and Jasmin kissing and the world revolving around them are shown. Nea in her nun garb is riding a bicycle with a side car thing. And her voice over wraps things up by saying some stuff about love and faith.

Although I was never particularly fond of this teleserye, I must admit that the writers were able to end it quite beautifully.

I agree with you. The writers, despite some flaws from time to time were able to end the teleserye nicely, though in a very predictable manner.

It was good to see John Llloyd and Claudine shine in once again in this series. As for Diether, more practice dude.
