The past week, nagulantang ang Etheria fans. Why? Because Alena (Karylle) unintentionally slayed Animus (Paolo Paraiso).
For the clueless, Animus was supposed to kill Ornia (Glydel Mercado). And the murder of Ornia angered the diwatas, and the rest of Encantadia, causing them to uprise against the Etherians. The uprising caused the death of Animus. Which caused the Etherians to wage war against rest of Encantadia. Eventually, the war led to the downfall of the powerful and oppressive Etheria. And the downfall of Etheria led to the rise of Lireo and the diwatas.
Thus, the untimely slaying of Animus may indeed cause a radical change in the course of history. Ironically, it has been Alena who has been warning her sisters that they should not meddle too much in the goings-on of the past for it might radically change the present/future. And she ends up killing a very important historical figure.
What now? Will Etheria ever fall? Or will the war just start prematurely and Ornia will live?
My theory is that Andora (Alessandra da Rossi) will ask Avria (Francine Prieto) to ask Bathalumang Ether to resurrect Animus. But in exchange, he would have to kill Ornia.
