In th ecoming months, expect the reincarnation of the much-loved Sharon Cuneta movie “Bituing Walang Ningning.” The movie is best known for the unforgettable line…
“You’re nothing but a second rate, trying hard copycat.”
The line was uttered by Cherie Gil’s Laviña to Sharon’s Dorina.
The 2006 TV series version will be headlined by Sarah Geronimo as Dorina and Angelika dela Cruz as Laviña. The men in their lives will be played by John Prats, Carlo Aquino and Ryan Agoncillo.
The Qpids love team of Carla Loren and Janus del Prado will also be part of the series.
Among the senior actors pegged to join the show are Tonton Guiterrez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Aiai Delas Alas and Amy Austria.

Taping started on Feb 28 based on Ktext messages from some cast members.
Based on discussions in PEx, BWN will most likely start airing in June, when the series _Gulong ng Palad_ is expected to end.
