I chanced upon the Maalaala Mo kaya episode last night. It was entitled Gitara and starred Jodi Sta. Maria and TJ Trinidad. I loved it.
The story was very simple but heartfelt. The actors were good. Jodi and TJ really surprised me. Jodi has matured, acting-wise. Meanwhile, TJ was believable as the struggling family man. He gave the right amount of emotions and delivered the light moments quite well. Of course Elizabeth Oropesa and Dick Israel managed to do well without stealing the limelight from Jodi and TJ. The actors who really impressed me were Angel Sy and Miles Ocampo. GALING!!!
I hope MMK stick with their format of telling the story of regular Filipinos (no more celebrities please). At least for a while. Iba rin kasi kung regular people, mas makaka-relate ang mga tao.

actually, until now i am so affected by that episode. For me, it was the only episode that really touched me. the story was really simple but it was really a heart-felt. Its not really as detailed or as really “big” but becauase of the actors, theres really something. (and also the writers too) They did a very good job!! i love the scenes where tj tried to tease jodi with things that wil let her remember him. kilig! i hope abs will think about pairing them-jodi and tj- as a love team.. hehehehe!

can’t remember how many times i’ve watched this epi, and it still makes me cry
I am an avid supporter of TJ Trinidad and I must say that it’s only fair to say that he’s done a very good job here. of course, Jodi Sta Maria and all the other actors involved were just as good!

it’s been months since i saw this MMK episode and yet it left a lasting impression. TJ and Jodi was great in it. two thumbs up. They seemed comfortable with their roles and in each other. it showed on screen. great chemistry those two. hope to see more of them. actually TJ can be paired with anyone. the 5 year old girl is also a capable actor.
