Brief summary:
Mr. B and Mrs. B are super heroes from the distant future. Mrs. B is forced to bring their son to another place. She brings him to the past (present time in the story), but is separated from him. I think she’s gonna end up marrying Viel. Their son, future Captain Barbell is adopted by Lolo Aloy and Lola Melay and is named Teng-teng. Their son and daughter-in-law, Cesar and Sandra end up taking care of him. Clarisee, their daughter becomes jealous of him.
In school, he has two bestfriends, a tomboyish girl, Kit and a guy, Bobby. He has a crush on popular girl Lea. Lea has a jealous boyfriend, Jared who bullies Teng-teng.
Teng-teng is bestowed powers from Barbarium. He is weakened by another substance also from where he came from.
He faces a variety of villains. These villains are either mutated by Captain Barbell’s journey to this present time (like Bubog), or from the place where he came from (like Commander X).

Pansin ko nga’ng Smallville! Nakita ko yun isang part kagabi — Dante Rivero and Gloria Sevilla getting out of their pick-up, then walking towards a fallen space shuttle na bilog and smoking. Nasa rice/corn/whatever fields nga pala ang setting.
Sabay cut to Dante Rivero digging a hole for the space shuttle.
Very Smallville talaga.
Diba binigay lang naman kay Tengteng yun barbell? Wala namang alien story? Or baka sobrang loyal lang ako sa Herbert Bautista/Edu Manzano version nito.

super disappointed. being a smallville fan (and dvd season collector) for (like) 4 years now… napanood ko na ang mga episodes mh captain barbell!

anong pinagkaiba nila? peklat sa mukha ni tengteng (na dapat sana ay payat, dahil nga tengteng ang pangalan niya at hindi peklat) at eye glasses kay clark
parehong galing sa kalawakan sakay ng isang spaceship na tinago ng parehong adoptive parents ng dalawa….
