As a kid, I was able to watch Herbert Bautista play Teng-teng and morph into Captain Barbell (Edu Manzano). He was, for me, the Pinoy superhero (along with Darna). So I was anticipating GMA 7′s Captain Barbell. But all it brought was disappointment after disappointment.

Early today, housemates Mikee Lim and Clare Cabiguin were also transported to the Isalnd Big Brother house in Governor’s Island, Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan.

I think not!

We can certainly accuse Kim of a lot of things, but being malandi is not one of them. She might be insincere at times, insensitive, childish, playing too safe… but she is not malandi. Nope, she is not my bet to win. I was her supporter because she is talented and seems like a nice kid.

But then, I changed my mind. But nonetheless, I still remain to be a fan of her talents. And she still keeps me amused and entertained night after night. Yes, she disappoints at times, but she is just a kid and that’s expected.

Now that the Big Night is approaching and people are campaigning like hell. A lot of things have been said. I agree with some of the accusations thrown at Kim but not with the accusation that she is malandi.

She has been close with Gerald. But I have never seen them act inaapropriately FOR THEIR AGE. Their both childish and I understand that that’s who they are. Thus, I am unperturbed by their harutan, senseless gigling and similar acts.

Now, if Kim starts dancing provocatively or starts undressing in front of Gerald, that would be a totally different thing. But as of the moment, I have not, cannot and will probably not see her doing such things.

Kim was and is not malandi. PERIOD!
