Sometimes i think this is a beatuy contest. Some Filipinos would rather see someone who is “mestiza†then someone who actually has talent. Michelle seems like a nice girl but CMON…do you really think she has that raw talent PDA is looking for? And if Michelle can make it with that voice…i think ANYONE can…another reason of why iya got out…maybe that got sick of her drama…di ba…she’s always the one who’s crying and starting drama…waaa waaa waaa…bottom line: that was unfair…please go home michelle

there is only one good thing i see about michelle still being in PDA over more talented people like Iya and RJ: if Michelle can make it with that voice and that blank pretty face, so can I (with all my “piyoks”, flats and sharps — yay, I can be a star! ahhaahahaha)

i just hope Panky and Chai wont get karma.to all PDA viewers vote intellegently, hope PDA wont be like the Pinas politics…hope the one who really won is the one who really deserve to be called star.Guys don’t fall to Irish strategy, to her drama that she’s not one of the priviliged people here in US, being born in US is already a priviliged,you can’t have a violin lesson if your not from a well to do family!Sino kayang peke sa kanila ni Iya? do you think michelle’s performance is better than ronnie’s in last week’s gala night? ronnie is in the bottom 4 (i can’t believe it)come on… the scholars are also playing it safe… those who might be a threat… is the one being voted out. just like rj. i just hope in the end the one who truly deserves the title wins. so, scholars play it fair… you are all talented and you all know who’s the one who deserves to be voted out… this is not a beauty contest…. by the way, we were turned off by irish’s tantrum when iya didn’t wake them up… she must remember when she comes out from the academy her attitude inside will always be remebered. (not a good example!) i hope yvan, ronnie, yeng, jr and eman will be the top 5!!!

You’re right…at least with Irish, she can sing (although if you remember at the very end of her performance…wow..she was BAD…looked confused and she was trying to over do it)…if i could give a message to all Filipinos: Just because you’re a half-breed, doesn’t mean you’re the shit. You could be a morena or dark and you could still be considered beautiful! stop it with this “spanish mentality” shit

If Irish gets kicked out of PDA or makes it to the top 3 it has nothing to do with her being mestiza. Don’t go putting down those that are pretty. We are not the ones voting. Its the public eye that has the opportunity to vote for the most deserving scholar.
Blame those who dont know shit. Those who cant see talent for what it is. Its just too bad that the public get to see the personal side of each scholar but the bottom line is that everyone has their good and bad sides. So what if any scholar has the money. Bottom line is only one person will be left standing and called the winner.
Will we remember any of the other 19 scholars two years from now? Who knows. Hindi naman sila sisikat if they keep up the attitude. The industry does not cater to prima donnas. Just sit back and enjoy the show. The scholars are showing their competitive side. They want to be on top. I guess they teach that in the academy. Michelle was not as good as iya. But Iya showed her ugly side to the other scholars. So pay back is a bitch. Thats life. Maybe they should have the scholars vote first out of the bottom 4 then the text votes then have the teachers decide out of the bottom two who was deserving.

Ang panget-panget na nga niya ma-comment pa siya…Actually, my mom overheard a conversation of 2 passengers beside her as she’s on her way to home: Dapat matanggal na iyang Rosita na iyan! Gumagaling lang siya kapag malapit na siyang ma-expell…tapos balik naman sa dati.
Kapag tinuturuan siya, huwag siyang mareklamo. paano siya matututo niyan?

This goes to show that ugly people have bad personalities. Siguro mas maganda si Rosita sa iba dito na nag sasalita. Rosita can sing and she has proven herself everytime she is nominated.
Swerte nga siya. Shes been able to sing the best songs every week. The other scholars who are not nominated dont get a chance to sing a whole song. Kaya now its always the bottom 4 that get all the attention. The nominees have more exposure on tv and they have gotten your attention.
Good luck kay Rosita. You really have improved. You do have the vocal power to make it. As some have said Gumagaling ka pag malapit ka ma expell. So you got that fighting spirit.

may point ka naman, kaya nga academy pra matuto at gumaling,BUT why is it rosita mahilig magcomment sa mga techers, she’s from dubai nagtrabaho bilang katulong na dapat marunong rumespeto sa amo…
But why she did’nt show some respect sa mga nakatataas sa kanya sa loob ng academy?
honestly at FIRST gusto namin si ROSITA kasi dito sya galing but nung tumagal na nakita na namin ang ugali nya and how slowly she improve. Alam namin na she can’t please all living creatures here in world (tao man or alien)but we tried to understand her but she failed to own our trust that long..
hindi naman sa face yan pare koy..
sa moral and characteristic yan kaya biglang hindi na nmin sya sinuportahan..
FIRST eviction ni rosita sinuportahan nmin sya sa text kahit isang text ay 45 pesos, so thats why rosita saved from eviction(with our help)..
But everytime na nakikilala sya sa TV dun kami nwalan ng gana..
For me either Yeng or Ivan could get the bread..

I know what your saying but you are judging someones whole character from what you have seen. Which is only a mere portion. Of course PDA does want televiewers. The more intrigue or comments they get the better off they are in ratings. Just seeing one side does not mean you know what Rosita’s morals are. Maybe a little. Her top priority is to help her family that is in need. A very good moral if I may say. You also have to take into consideration that she is not a highly educated person. Its only human nature to question a teacher if you do not fully understand. In Rositas case I dont see her answering back. Yung bang directly sinasagot ang teacher. Her defensive side is what comes up all the time. She gives excuses for why she made an error. Just to show her side. But that does not mean she disregards the lesson that the teacher is giving.
Madami din nag salita nang why does she speak english hindi naman siya magaling. Practice makes perfect. How will she learn if she does not even try. Kung yung magaling mag english if they try to speak tagalog they are sometimes corrected. But no harm done when its constructive criticism.
Reading the comments of others it does get upsetting that some people directly put down the scholars. There is a saying that if you cant say anything nice about anyone dont say anything. Okay mag criticize about how they did performance wise but some just hit below the belt.
Everyone has problems in life and if the scholars are reading any of these comments, you can only imagine what it does to their self esteem. They really dont deserve rude remarks.
As far as Rosita is concerned she has come a long way. Still learning and will hopefully have a brighter future.
My favorite singer in the whole thing is Joan. She has an awesome voice. I rarely hear her off key. She just needs to have more stage presence and nail the performance with an outstanding song. Iya also had a great voice but with the way voting is going its anyones championship.

against din ako sa pinapakita ni rosita. fighter sa fighter siya kaya lang hindi pa rin maganda ang pinapakitang pagsagot-sagot sa mga instructors. ilagay natin ang mga sarili natin sa place niya, di ba kapag ganun ang ipakita nating ugali di ba pupulaan tayo? being true too much ain’t wise at all!
tingan ninyo yung mga sumasali sa ibang talent search na panay ang sagot at salita… panay ang reklamo… where are they now? nanalo ba sila?
magaling sa magaling si rosita. consistency at hindi pagiging pala-salita or pala-reklamo ang kailangan niya. otherwise, it just states na ayaw mong matuto o nagmamarunong ka.

This is not a debate.
When I said educated, is that she does not know how to ask in the proper manner. She always interrupts to give her side. There is a way of saying things to others so it wont come across offensive. She is just giving her side of why she did things the way she did. DO YOU HEAR ME!

She does not need to be plastic to anyone. In the industry where I am also from. The more direct and humble you are the better off you will do. The backstabbing behind the scenes only last for a short time. Longevity is the key. The truth always comes out in the end (look at the others you have judged by their actions). She is true to herself and the people in the academy. Why do you think she always gets the teachers votes? They dont think she has done anything wrong to kick her off. They have accepted how she is and have delt with it in their own way.
So pare ko. Makinig ka rin. Walang masama pinakita si Rosita. She does not swear or tell people to shut up (like Irish did when the judges where giving their opinion). You did judge her personality on a 6 week period of being on Tv for a max of 1 hr a week.
Hangang dito nalang ako mag sasalita dahil never ending na itong issue. Pag pipilitan niyo pa rin ang opinion niyo anyways.

In everything you do when it comes to work you have to listen lalo na sa nakakataas sayo but kung kailangan mo magsalita then go on but in right way.(Sa Boss lang yan implemented ha, hindi sa kalevel) Pag kalevel mo eh magsagutan kayo dyan magdamagan pa!

Though Iya got ousted, she got the respect & admiration of the people by her soulful last performance inside the PDA. Iya bowed gracefully, with people believing that she well deserves to be one of the scholars of the PDA. She shows bravery despite the criticism, intellectually she made it to the top five & amidst all the pressure she still managed to perform in her best. I hope Iya’s reading all these messages, because somehow you touched our lives & with that we salute you Iya.

Congrats to all the PDA top 6 scholars. May the best one win. I hope they will be given all the exposures they need to explore their talents and be proud that they belong to the ABS-CBN PDA winners which they should all deserve. Hope the next PDA contests will be able to discover and give talented contestants chance to show their talents. May this 6 candidates prove to the voters and audience they all deserve to be considered stars for ABS-CBN. Keep up the good work guys, just remember to keep your feet on the ground and prestige will not make you change, but continue with what you’ve learned in the academy and people will surely be proud of you all!!!
