I watched Super Noypi with the hope that it would a great movie, considering that Quark Henares is its director. But I was terribly disappointed. The story was horrible. It was a very bad throwback to campy Pinoy teenybopper caper movies of the 80s. There were too many unneccessary scenes and the special effects were nothing special. SHEESH!!!
The only bright spots in the movie were the decent acting of most (not all) of the actors, and the few (and very far in between) funny moments. Sandara Park (God bless her!!!) proved to be effective as a comic relief. Sad to say, that was her only purpose in the movie. Polo Ravales and Katrina Halili turned in strong performances, but were stifled by their cardboard thin characters. John Prats was good, very funny, but like the others, he reallz didn’t have much to work with. Jennylyn Mercado also gave a good performance but had to contend, again, with a stupid storyline. Mark Herras perhaps, gave the weakest performance. He didn’t exude the commanding aura that his role demanded from him. In fairness to him, he has improved naman. And the Muhlach kid lacked charisma and charm, but showed a decent performance.
I give Super Noypi two very big thumbs down!!! Hopefully, Filipino filmgoers will never be forced to watch a film as stupid and badly made as it.

My cousin brought this movie from the Philippines and told me it was a good one. Unfortunatly, I had to watch it with him. I totally agree with you! Super Noypi, is super corny!
