I am one of PBB2 viewer here in dubai, i like the show so much but i have noticed that there is favoritism on this show, why u allow that wendy to become drunk that night while ther are so many childrens who are watching the show and this is not a good example for them. Aside from that, i could’nt understand about the BALIKBAHAY HOUSEMATES, it should not be done coz it shown as unfairness for the other housemates. ANd that wendy is showing her worse attitude as the BIG 4 is getting closer. It is not good that shes acting like a superstar inside the house. ANd under stimated the fellow housemates. It seems that she wants to ruin all the other girls so that she will become the BIG WINNER. I am sending this comment to express my feelings because i have been noticed that the house rules is not implemented properly. And ive noticed aso that the camera is always focusing to that wendy and bruce, they are so bored. Its like that thers nobody live in the house just that two fake lover. It should be no BIAS will happen inside the house just to make the game and competion fair..
LAstly, we are not in favor of the BALIKBAHAY HOUSEMATES coz due to this the house comes into trouble especially of WENDY who left aside. SHE IS A TROUBLEMAKER.

Im a Tfc subscriber for sometime now,Ive been watching most of your programs consistently. I never had missed an episode of PBB season 2,so with the uplate and im enjoying every minute of it.Very entertaining and well presented.
You all guys deserved a big tap on each and everyones shoulder for Keeping up the good work!!!
It was just sad that program end is near when the whole Philippines and world was shocked by Wendy behaviour.Shes so irritating over her accusations to other housemates and needs to be out of the house na. I admire the attitudes and potentials of some housemates.I will find it absurd if they will be evicted.To name names that i like most, this will be Mickey,Ge-ann, Bea and Bodie. I like this 4 guys to turn up to be the big winners as each of them have different personalities and a good example for our young generation.Mickey for being so respectful, polite and caring.Bodie for being refine and descent.Ge-ann for being humble and always on a low profile despite being well off. I dont remember her talking about what she had in life aside fr. Pamela and her stuff toys. while Bea for being cool,kind and understanding. Sila ang mga tutoong tao.No hang ups at yun na cla.
I dont understand why Wendy is misbehaving.Sobra ang jealousy niya over Ge-ann and Bodie’s fortune. Its not their fault that they have a good family with a secured future.Siya itong very insecure and i hate her for shes so money oriented. I feel so sorry for Bruce and Nel for being an underdog over Wendy. I watched TV Patrol and there’s this James Dy saying that Big Brother is composed of a group of people and its not only one person. Well its a group per se but then Wendy is always the favorite pati yung mga sinasabi niya ine edit nila to her advantage tapos ine edit din yung sa ibang housemates para magmukhang kawawa si Wendy. Its true malaking risk pag manalo si Wendy bakit kasi siguradong aabangan siya ng mga nanggagalaiting mga fans. Nung bumalik siya duda na ang lahat that the station funded her comeback kasi siya at ang tutang si Bruce ang laging piniplay up and if I remember it right bumaba ang ratings dahil dun that is why nag shift sila ng strategy ginawang hati house kasi they were bombarded by criticisms. When I watched the primetime episode kagabi pinapaboran pa rin si Wendy i hope ABS realizes this. Pati hosts ganun din sabihin be naman ni Toni sa isang show na good or bad publicity is still publicity kinilig pa sa loveteam ng demonya at ni tuta Bruce. To you Wendy ikaw ang PLASTIC because you did not learn the value of good sportsmanship. Kung gaano ka kaganda ganun kasama ang ugali mo. May sayad ka and sana pina tignan din siya ni Kuya sa resident psychiatrist nila. Nagwawala na nga ang demonya hindi pa rin umaksiyon si Kuya pero si Gee Ann pinatignan lumalabas na piniplay up ng ABS na may sakit si Gee Ann. Wendy inggit ka lang at galit sa taong may pera. Life is what you make it kaya magsumikap ka na lang para makaahon ka sa buhay kesa manira at manapak ka ng tao just to be at the top. To ABS CBN BE FAIR to the other housemates get your acts together and come up with a balanced view of everything that happens inside the house. i’m a tfc subscriber here in Saudi Arabia, and an avid follower of PBB…however, in PBB2nd edition..i have lot of dissapointments, especially in its recent episode where a several if not blatant situation shown in TV have lots of biasis to favor and play up the stations favorate housemates (Bruce and Wendy)…there episodes as lovers is nakakasuka na so say the least…they’re OA na…the tantrums of Wendy is very pathetic and PBB is playing it to the maximum, giving more exposure to Wendy at the expense of other housemates, who were cut-off in several instances…surely we your paying audience watch you PBB of your responsibilities….coz, as always in the past you are known to be bias and always put financial returns and ratings at the forefront….to you WENDY, BRUCE, Big(but small)Brother and ABSCBN….mahiya naman kayo…..

Kagabi was another UNFAIR episode of Big Brother. Halatang halata na ang ABS CBN. Inedit an naman to the Wendemonya’s advantage and yung Kuya sinabihan si Gee Ann na unfair. Ang ABS ang unfair. The medical treatment of Gee Ann is not unfair kasi dapat talaga nila gawin yun. Pero yung pagbabalik sa bahay ng Wendymonya ang unfair since the start. Halatang gusto ninyo i salvage ang image ng inyong Big Winner??? pero sorry na lang kayo the damage is done unless i manipulate ninyo ang mga votes. Tama si Bodie how you live your life inside the house is the essence of it all. What values is the daughter of Satan giving the viewers? NONE. She’s ill bred and palengkera. She does not know the value of humility in teh first place. I feel so sorry for her family and nakakahiya ka Wndemonya even to your Alma Mater. At ikaw Bruce nakakahiya ka rin kasi akala ko your from UP asaan ang brains mo baka biglang magkaroon ng saplot ang Oblation sa iyo. So to ABS maghanda na kayo sa Sabado because if you don’t do it right lalong magagalit ang nangagalaiting sambayanan sa inyo. BE FAIR KUYA!!! To the ABS CBN Management lalo na yung mga tao behind PBB,allowing someonelike Wendy and bruce to stay in the house and giving so much emphasis on their pathetic love story is destroying the essence of the show which had given so much pride in being a Filipino. When Nene won in season one that was a big boost sa Image ng Pinoy, which made me love PBB more. Napka poor comparison ng season two, obvious yung bias,I can’t believe na ABS CBN management is willing to risk their reputation and destroy the vision of PBB dahil sa isang Wendy. Besyds buti pinapalusot ni Chairman Laguardia yung mga nakakasukang paglalambingan ni Wendy at Bruce,unlike before, PBB season two is devoid of moral values, wala kaming makuhang role model which is supposed to be the essence of the show. years now, since i finished my MA on

that ABS CBN would be showing (with
higher compensation, obviously), i
accepted the offer. how bad can it
get, i said, since most of these shows
run on public voting and my job would
mostly include thinking of
the “challenges†that Kuya instructs
the housemates to do.
apparently, conceptualization
incorporates more than that. as i have
known after the pre-screening of the
auditioners, as early as the
application process, we have to note
who we think will “attract the public
most†and who we think will “make the
ratings go off the roof.†after the
initial screening, we had to choose
the top 100 of the batch, and even
though some did not “theoretically
pass†the audition (some weren’t able
to complete the documents needed),
since they have mass appeal, they made
it to the first cut, and some were
even included in the finalists that
entered the BB house.
as you all know, the eviction process
is supposed to be based on the votes
that the “nominated housemates†– the
housemate with the lowest vote will be
evicted. i dont know about the
previous editions of the PBB (since i
only worked under this series this
season), but what surprised us the
most was when we were informed that
the voting only affects the decision
minimally – that the voting actually
shows who the public wants to see
again the following day – but that was
it. the truth is, there are so-
called “talent auditors.†these people
are the ones who really put the big
decision as to who will be evicted,
and who will stay. of course, this
never became obvious since i cannot
deny the fact that we receive millions
of votes during eviction night. that
is, until wendy was evicted, and then
later returned to join the housemates
who are legitimately still in the
contest. and the reason is this: the
wendy-bruce loveteam is working. have
you ever noticed why most of the
episodes are focused on the wendy-
bruce loveteam? it is because ratings
are really high, meaning that people
want to see how their relationship
develops.
i have never received this much
question about my work before. my
friends want to know how someone who
was already evicted be suddenly
returned to the house. actually, that
is one of the “twists†that are really
planned to be included in the show.
but there are actually 3 evicted
housemates that were vying to be
returned to the house, and wendy was
one of them. we were asked who we
think should be the one to return to
the house, and zeke won. but after
discussing that the wendy-bruce love
team was too interesting to abruptly
end, it was wendy who got the spot.
aside from that, we were later
informed by one of the production
managers who was disappointed with the
decision, wendy was “direk dyogi’s
pet.â€
i told this story to some of my
friends, and they were surprised to
know the truth, particularly because
some of them were voting for their
favorite contestant. i told them only
one thing – that they are just wasting
their money in voting. as i have
personally seen, the path of the
contest is already drawn, and the
voting only affects the decision
minimally, as i have said. this only
tells us who the public wants to see
again inside the house. the eviction
of nel tonight is the classic example.
nel got the 2nd lowest number of
votes, wendy got the lowest. but the
administrators think that perhaps the
wendy-bruce loveteam is still up, so
we had to give it one last shot. if
the ratings go down, or if on tuesday
(the next eviction night), wendy still
gets the lowest vote, she’s out of the
contest.
i did not want to reveal all of these,
partly because of my loyalty to the
company that has given me so much over
the years, but i personally think that
it is unfair to make one suffer for
another’s gain. since i have done
background checks on the housemates, i
know for a fact that nel isn’t very
well-off, and should have been given
his chance fairly. i feel bad to know
that i am included in a ploy to
confuse and even fool people into
believing that they control the
outcome of the show. that is why i
went ahead and did this post. i wanted
people to know how PBB works.
if you really want to let the network
know how disappointed you are with the
outcome, make the ratings go down at
least until tuesday. and do not waste
your money in voting, or if you really
want to and have the means to do so,
vote for who you really think should
be included in the big 4 – this way,
hopefully, wendy will be out on

To the management of ABS-CBN and PBB (to the bunch of creators and manipulators who are knownly called as ‘KUYA’ and to Director Dyogi in particular)…..sa ginagawa nyong kalokohan sa mga viewers nyo, eh maniwala sana kayo sa “KARMA”. Ang galit ko kay Wendy at Bruce eh secondary na lang..pero talaga namang nakaka high blood yung ginagawang anomalya ng mga tao sa likod ng PBB na gawing GAGO ang mga viewers nila. Kapamilya? Pwe! We’ve been reading a lot of, supposedly, conspiracy theories lately in threads whether it be here or sa PEX or wherever else. I’ve always taken them with a grain of salt.
Well, today some old friends whom I’ve worked with before, visited me at my office. They’ve been working for Channel 2 for the past 2 or 3 years now. Out of respect for my friends’ privacy (and job security), I am going to avoid mentioning their names and gender. Hindi maiwasan na I would ask them about PBB2, because I am naturally curious about the show and the naglipanang haka-haka about recent events. In itemized form, here is what ‘ve learned from them:
-(pinagalitan nila ako) Don’t waste money voting daw, because it is RIGGED ang RATINGS always come first before the amount of votes (the money generated from this is just a bonus for ABS dahil mayaman na sila, besides Cellphone networks ang talagang nakikinabang dito). Sabi ko, “eh di sayang pala pag-vote ng mga taoâ€. Hndi naman daw kase atleast may pagkukunan pa ng sweldo nila (half-meant na joke).
-Jeremy is supposed to be inside the house instead of Bodie, but Bodie has “kapitâ€.
-It really all comes down to RATINGS. And that is all there is to it. Not the text votes, not how much a housemate is loved or hated. Your e-mails do not matter, they are most likely to be ignored anyhow. Kahit mag-rally pa kayo sa harap ng ABS, hindi nila tatanggalin si Wendy hanggat humahatak siya sa ratings. Actually, matutuwa pa nga daw ABS pag may nag-rally sa harap with matching banners and placards kase mas conroversial, mas – all together now – mas mataas ang RATINGS. PBB thrives on conflict and controversy, mas madami nanonood, according to their researchers pag marami nito. Ng mawala daw si Wendy ay bumaba ang ratings – as in bumulusok pababa. AND PBB lost most of its MALE viewers too, because Wendy is, sort of the *** icon in PBB2. Let’s face it ang mga guys manyak sa mukhang “game†na babae kesa sa mga wholesome-looking. ABS wasn’t expecting na baba ang ratings nila when Wendy left, but they had to find a way to bring Wendy back into the PBB house, and yes, panakip-butas lang sila Zeke, Kian and Jasmine, no offense sa mga fans. Kahit di ako makapaniwala, my friends told me na madami nanonood ng Brendy moments. Pang “masa†kase sila. Sa kanila nakaka-relate ang mga poor. Di maka-ride ang masa with the likes of Gee and Mickey. Most of their supporters are middleclass and upperclass. And we know that the masa vastly outnumbers the middleclass or the upperclass. And let’s face it, *** sells – or atleast the idea of it. Gee-Ann and Mickey as a loveteam is too wholesome to be controversial. Majority of the masa viewers are not into “kilig†moments, but more into kontobersiya.
-THe Big winner will never be someone with “may kaya sa buhayâ€, pag mahirap ang nanalo pogi points for ABS nanaman sa masa. Grooming nila to be the big winner right now is Wendy(as long as she keeps the ratings up) or Nel (kase poor). Arguably, Bruce is poor too, pero plus factor na may “star quality†daw si Wendy na pwede mag-artista for looks and Nel kase komedyante. Tentative big 4 right now n ABS is Wendy, Nel, Bodie and Bruce or Gee-Ann (and Gee-Ann is still just a slight possibility at that – they are just keeping her “tentatively†kase she’s pretty and madaming fans. Pwede pa rin nila ilaglag dahil para lang si Franzen na nag-generate lang ng money dahil sa text votes. Pero when it comes to income from text versus ratings, nilaglag si Franzen para may slot si Uma and Cass. To think na dapat si Franzen ang big winner sa PBB1 kung i-base nila sa votes, again according to my sources). Gee-Ann, Mickey, Bea and rest have little chance of being part of the big 4 daw talaga no matter how much we vote. Not saying wala talagang chance. But the only way they would increase the odds of being part of the big 4 or atleast not getting evicted early in the game is to be controversial and generate high ratings. Nilaglag si Dionne kase wala na daw angle na pwedeng i-exploit sa istorya niya inside the house after the ZEKE story. Bea, after the Maricris issue, wala narin. Walang loveteam, walang conflict. paulit-ulit, I know. Pero that’s it talaga. Nothing can stand in the way of ratings. Pwede sabihin na a housemate would be safe as long as hindi ma-nominate, titirahin nila yan sa violation. It’s the game TV networks play. Sa 4 na nominated this week, si Yen daw ang pinaka-walang angle for any story kaya siya ang malamang na ilalaglag.
In a nutshell. Possible story angles = controversy = RATINGS. Nothing else matters. UUlitin ko, hindi daw ito labanan ng pera – Ratings lang. Ito ang mundo ng TV network wars. The ONLY way we could (could pa lang yan – a small fighting chance) against the Wendys on the tube, is to BOYCOTT. Stop watching the show when Wendy comes back. Only when and only then, pag ratings become worse will ABS ever think twice.
I know it’s all hearsay from friends, but I don’t see what they would gain from lying to me. In my defense I’ve never written any bad posts in this forum, impolite or otherwise and never ako nagkalat ng chismis or nanira ng respective bets ng ibang tao to sway other people’s opinions. As much as possible I’ve tried to be objective when it came to debates about issues and the like. I hope most of you would bear this in mind before you judge me.
I don’t know. Call it fatalistic, pero I’m giving PBB one last chance this week. Pag NATANGGAL SI YEN (as my friends said) this week, I would open my mind to the possibility na what my friends told me could happen and I am never spending a single centavo to vote. As of now, boycott ako sa PT, uplate, update, etc. anything that would contribute to ABS’ PBB ratings. As much as I love Gee and Mikcey, makikibalita na lang ako dito sa forums. Wala paring iwanan, kase nakakaawa sila they are being exploited. Pero kailangan talaga sumadsad ang ratings na PBB pag pasok ni Wendy. Only then I think will changes occur. Dun lang walang laban si Wendy, sa Ratings. Dun lang siya hindi ipagpapalit ng ABS. I apologize if I sound like a broken record, I guess I just can’t say it enough. I am just so disappointed. You could say I shoudn’t be affected, a TV show is not a hindrance to my life. I guess I am still clinging to some PRINCIPLES and the Idea that we could make a difference. That “they have rights who dare defend themâ€. If not by clamoring in the streets and by being loud, then by silent protest, by not watching the show, by BEATING them in their own game. Let the PBB2 RATINGS go down this week!

I have worked for abs-cbn for almost 4 years now, since i finished my MA on mass com – broadcast communication in 2003. as part of production on news and current affairs, my work has been mostly rewarding, with good benefits despite the low base pay (i’m including this part so you would understand why i accepted the offer to be transferred to conceptualization of some reality shows particularly the current one, PBB.) because of the sensitivity of my status (i am still working there) i cannot divulge my name, gender and current position in ABS CBN. still, i would like to inform those who are interested (who, most probably, are now wondering why Wendy Valdez is still inside the house and not evicted yet, as most must have assumed.)
When i was asked if i wanted to be part of the conceptualization of the current and upcoming reality shows that ABS CBN would be showing (with higher compensation, obviously), i accepted the offer. how bad can it get, i said, since most of these shows run on public voting and my job would mostly include thinking of the “challenges” that Kuya instructs the housemates to do.
Apparently, conceptualization incorporates more than that. as i have known after the pre-screening of the auditioners, as early as the application process, we have to note who we think will “attract the public most” and who we think will “make the ratings go off the roof.” after the initial screening, we had to choose the top 100 of the batch, and even though some did not “theoretically pass” the audition (some weren’t able to complete the documents needed), since they have mass appeal, they made it to the first cut, and some were even included in the finalists that entered the BB house.
As you all know, the eviction process is supposed to be based on the votes that the “nominated housemates” – the housemate with the lowest vote will be evicted. i dont know about the previous editions of the PBB (since i only worked under this series this season), but what surprised us the most was when we were informed that the voting only affects the decision minimally – that the voting actually shows who the public wants to see again the following day – but that was it. the truth is, there are so-called “talent auditors.” these people are the ones who really put the big decision as to who will be evicted, and who will stay. of course, this never became obvious since i cannot deny the fact that we receive millions of votes during eviction night. that is, until wendy was evicted, and then later returned to join the housemates who are legitimately still in the contest. and the reason is this: the wendy-bruce loveteam is working. have you ever noticed why most of the episodes are focused on the wendy-bruce loveteam? it is because ratings are really high, meaning that people want to see how their relationship develops.
I have never received this much question about my work before. my friends want to know how someone who was already evicted be suddenly returned to the house. actually, that is one of the “twists” that are really planned to be included in the show. but there are actually 3 evicted housemates that were vying to be returned to the house, and wendy was one of them. we were asked who we think should be the one to return to the house, and zeke won. but after discussing that the wendy-bruce love team was too interesting to abruptly end, it was wendy who got the spot. aside from that, we were later informed by one of the production managers who was disappointed with the decision, wendy was “direk dyogi’s pet.”
I told this story to some of my friends, and they were surprised to know the truth, particularly because some of them were voting for their favorite contestant. i told them only one thing – that they are just wasting their money in voting. as i have personally seen, the path of the contest is already drawn, and the voting only affects the decision minimally, as i have said. this only tells us who the public wants to see again inside the house. the eviction of nel tonight is the classic example. nel got the 2nd lowest number of votes, wendy got the lowest. but the administrators think that perhaps the wendy-bruce loveteam is still up, so we had to give it one last shot. if the ratings go down, or if on tuesday (the next eviction night), wendy still gets the lowest vote, she’s out of the contest.
I did not want to reveal all of these, partly because of my loyalty to the company that has given me so much over the years, but i personally think that it is unfair to make one suffer for another’s gain. since i have done background checks on the housemates, i know for a fact that nel isn’t very well-off, and should have been given his chance fairly. i feel bad to know that i am included in a ploy to confuse and even fool people into believing that they control the outcome of the show. that is why i went ahead and did this post. i wanted people to know how PBB works.
If you really want to let the network know how disappointed you are with the outcome, make the ratings go down at least until tuesday. and do not waste your money in voting, or if you really want to and have the means to do so, vote for who you really think should be included in the big 4 – this way, hopefully, wendy will be out on tuesday for good.###

u know guys, kanya kanya namang perception ang tao dba? it depends upon how we perceive things… it just so happened na very vocal tayo when it comes to comments & opinions… one thing’s for sure is, we are all different… no two people are alike… but then, when it comes to reactions towards particular thing, nagkakataon na nagkakapareho ang iba… like sa comments & reactions natin sa PBB, may galit, may pabor, may asar, may natutuwa at kung anu-ano pang reactions toward housemates @ PBB… at isa nga sa pinaka-highlight ng PBB ay walang iba kundi c WENDY! siya kc ung nag-express ng negative emotions sa loob ng bahay na ikinagalit at ikinabadtrip TALAGA ng maraming viewers… pero sabi nga ng isang nag-comment din d2, tumataas ang rating ng PBB because of viewers’ reactions, regardless kung good or bad reactions ito… kaya para sa ibang matindi ang pagkaasar sa PBB, much better if you guys don’t ever patronize the said program… kc the more you watch the PBB show, the more they gain reactions from the viewers.. kaya kung gusto po ninyo na bumaba ang rating ng PBB, better yet, stop watching it!

“I have worked for abs-cbn for almost 4 years now, since i finished my MA on mass com – broadcast communication in 2003. as part of production on news and current affairs, my work has been mostly rewarding, with good benefits despite the low base pay (i’m including this part so you would understand why i accepted the offer to be transferred to conceptualization of some reality shows particularly the current one, PBB.) because of the sensitivity of my status (i am still working there) i cannot divulge my name, gender and current position in ABS CBN. still, i would like to inform those who are interested (who, most probably, are now wondering why Wendy Valdez is still inside the house and not evicted yet, as most must have assumed.)
When i was asked if i wanted to be part of the conceptualization of the current and upcoming reality shows that ABS CBN would be showing (with higher compensation, obviously), i accepted the offer. how bad can it get, i said, since most of these shows run on public voting and my job would mostly include thinking of the “challenges” that Kuya instructs the housemates to do.
Apparently, conceptualization incorporates more than that. as i have known after the pre-screening of the auditioners, as early as the application process, we have to note who we think will “attract the public most” and who we think will “make the ratings go off the roof.” after the initial screening, we had to choose the top 100 of the batch, and even though some did not “theoretically pass” the audition (some weren’t able to complete the documents needed), since they have mass appeal, they made it to the first cut, and some were even included in the finalists that entered the BB house.
As you all know, the eviction process is supposed to be based on the votes that the “nominated housemates” – the housemate with the lowest vote will be evicted. i dont know about the previous editions of the PBB (since i only worked under this series this season), but what surprised us the most was when we were informed that the voting only affects the decision minimally – that the voting actually shows who the public wants to see again the following day – but that was it. the truth is, there are so-called “talent auditors.” these people are the ones who really put the big decision as to who will be evicted, and who will stay. of course, this never became obvious since i cannot deny the fact that we receive millions of votes during eviction night. that is, until wendy was evicted, and then later returned to join the housemates who are legitimately still in the contest. and the reason is this: the wendy-bruce loveteam is working. have you ever noticed why most of the episodes are focused on the wendy-bruce loveteam? it is because ratings are really high, meaning that people want to see how their relationship develops.
I have never received this much question about my work before. my friends want to know how someone who was already evicted be suddenly returned to the house. actually, that is one of the “twists” that are really planned to be included in the show. but there are actually 3 evicted housemates that were vying to be returned to the house, and wendy was one of them. we were asked who we think should be the one to return to the house, and zeke won. but after discussing that the wendy-bruce love team was too interesting to abruptly end, it was wendy who got the spot. aside from that, we were later informed by one of the production managers who was disappointed with the decision, wendy was “direk dyogi’s pet.”
I told this story to some of my friends, and they were surprised to know the truth, particularly because some of them were voting for their favorite contestant. i told them only one thing – that they are just wasting their money in voting. as i have personally seen, the path of the contest is already drawn, and the voting only affects the decision minimally, as i have said. this only tells us who the public wants to see again inside the house. the eviction of nel tonight is the classic example. nel got the 2nd lowest number of votes, wendy got the lowest. but the administrators think that perhaps the wendy-bruce loveteam is still up, so we had to give it one last shot. if the ratings go down, or if on tuesday (the next eviction night), wendy still gets the lowest vote, she’s out of the contest.
I did not want to reveal all of these, partly because of my loyalty to the company that has given me so much over the years, but i personally think that it is unfair to make one suffer for another’s gain. since i have done background checks on the housemates, i know for a fact that nel isn’t very well-off, and should have been given his chance fairly. i feel bad to know that i am included in a ploy to confuse and even fool people into believing that they control the outcome of the show. that is why i went ahead and did this post. i wanted people to know how PBB works.
If you really want to let the network know how disappointed you are with the outcome, make the ratings go down at least until tuesday. and do not waste your money in voting, or if you really want to and have the means to do so, vote for who you really think should be included in the big 4 – this way, hopefully, wendy will be out on tuesday for good.”

PBB Management Answers Letter of So-called PBB Insider

An email circulating in the media about supposed anomalies in the program PINOY BIG BROTHER SEASON 2 has reached us. We would like to clarify certain malicious points that were raised in said anonymous letter. We are hoping that this letter will clear the clouds surrounding the recent events in the program.
01.The letter was supposedly written by an MA Masscom graduate, who was part of the news and current affairs division before supposedly doing “conceptualization of some reality shows particularly the current one, PBB”.We would like to put on record that no such staffer from the program exists. There is only one staffer of the program who comes from the news and current affairs division, and that staffer started with the program in Season 1, and not just this season, as the writer of the letter claimed.
02.PINOY BIG BROTHER is a franchise of the Endemol-owned BIG BROTHER and is not “conceptualized” locally as the letter implicated. Even the tasks done inside the house are based on a production bible.
03.The letter-writer also mentioned the positions “conceptualizer” and “talent auditors”. This is the first time that we hear of such positions in our company.The creative group includes the following positions: creative manager, headwriter, writer, brainstormer and researcher. In the case of PINOY BIG BROTHER, the creative group is composed of the chief story editor, senior story editor, story editors and researchers.There is also no such thing as a “talent auditor” in ABS-CBN.
04.The letter-writer claimed to have been part of the screening process and has even noted some of the criteria that we supposedly take into consideration.The fact of the matter is that there is only a core group in charge of the screening process, and this includes ABS CBN Management, business unit head, executive producers, chief story editor and the senior story editor.No “conceptualizer” is part of the screening process.
05.The letter-writer also claimed that during the season, the group had to choose the Top 100 of the batch.The fact is that no Top 100 exists.After the extensive screening process, the core group sat down through a string of meetings to come up with the Top 30 of the batch.
06.The letter also called our business unit head, Director Lauren Dyogi as “direk dyogi”. As a matter of fact, no one in the staff calls him by that monicker.He is officially known and called LMD or Direk Lauren.Thus, it is quite obvious that the letter-writer is not part of the staff of the current PINOY BIG BROTHER season.
07.The letter also claimed the following: “the path of the contest is already drawn, and the voting only affects the decision minimally… this only tells us who the public wants to see again inside the house.” This is not true. Even the staff does not know who will be evicted until the office of ABS CBN Interactive reveals the final tally after the closing of votes. There is no way that these results can be rigged and every vote is on record with the office of ABS CBN Interactive.The final voting process, which started after the eviction of housemate Robert, is closely monitored by a third party, namely SGV and Co, to validate the votes.
08.The letter claimed that during the eviction of housemate Nel, “Nel got the 2nd lowest number of votes, wendy got the lowest. But the administrators think that perhaps the wendy-bruce loveteam is still up, so we had to give it one last shot. If the ratings go down, or if on Tuesday (the next eviction night), wendy still gets the lowest vote, she’s out of the contest.”The statement is maliciously fabricated.The episode of the program shown last night, where the percentage of votes and the actual number of votes garnered by Nel and Bruce, clearly showed that it was not Wendy who got the second lowest vote but Bruce, and the trend did not change until Bruce’s eviction on Tuesday.
Hopefully, this would answer the points raised by the malicious letter-writer who can not even divulge his/her name, gender and current position in ABS CBN.The entire letter is a poor attempt to discredit PINOY BIG BROTHER because all the accusations are fabricated, along with the identity of the letter-writer.The name and franchise PINOY BIG BROTHER stands by the integrity of the public vote and will not in any way, discredit the voting public from whose sentiment the program really relies on.
And we do not think that any staffer would wish and campaign for the ratings to go down, because every staffer would want to enjoy credible ratings to ensure the stability of the network to which he belongs.
The letter-writer asked and we quote “where is the morality in that, abs-cbn?”Definitely not in the malicious letter that was written.

What….. nasama sa big 4 si wendymonya. Im a tfc subscriber for sometime now, back home im a consistent viewer of your network and i love watching most of your programs as i believe with your “Kapamilya” slogan – focusing and caring for every filipino family, concerned most to our young generation.
I admire and i believe you care for the filipino people, for the audiences showing good filipino cultures and moral values.And not noticing myself that i started to get hooked with Pinoy Big Brother2.I missed the season 1 before, as im watching an english network here in the UAE.
I find the PBB program very entertaining showing the main concern for the filipino youth behaviour and mentality coming from different countries,cultures, level of soceity despite some are being half filipino by blood.
I was so dissapointing over Bodie”s loss last night.Obviously, kitang kita ang favoritism sa program nyo. Stop it!!!Big 4 should be for deserving winners, young people with good characters as program deals mainly with attitudes and behaviour .Bodie is one good model for our young children, may aral, may breeding, may finess, so with likes of Mickey, Bea and Geann.Im for Mickey!!!becouse among all others, hes the only one with a goal of putting a dancing school to help young people, di siya makasarili despite of being half pinoy lang.. but i dont mind whoever among them turns up to be the winner except for wendy.Shes unacceptable talaga.
Last nights eviction is too disgusting for your network, for your programs to choose a person na kilala nyo na ang ugali at background.Crab ang mentality at ang personality niya rotten.Hindi siya karapat dapat.shes using everybody at her own personal gain to go up. Iyan ba ang ugaling pinoy?.

Upon reading all your reactions regarding the last eviction (June 29). I felt so disappointed. I never thought Bodie would be evicted. I have read so many hate reactions on Wendy Valdez so what can you do? Do you have any choice? All of you who hate Wendy Valdez, why don’t you go to the big dome and express your feelings?. Do you all know that the PBB management including the director liked the idea of you hating Wendy? It is because of the ratings. The more you send hate reactions, the more the ratings of PBB will go up. Pumapasok kayo sa bitag ng PBB management. Mas galit kayo mas gusto nila. Huwag ninyong sabihin na kaya ninyong i-boycot ang PBB tomorrow. Why? Because pupunta at pupunta pa rin kayo sa big dome to watch who will be the winner. Maraming gustong manakit kay Wendy pero paano ninyo gagawin kung ang mismong staff ng PBB ay pipigilan kayo? You have to think of something else that will not only hurt the PBB staff but also, the studio network that cradles them will suffer. Marami pa kayong hindi alam tungkol sa mga gimik ng istasyon na yan. PInakakagat lang kayo sa bitag and nahulog naman kayo. Kung pwede nga lang bang isumbong mismo sa endemol main ang kalokohan nila ay sana ginawa ko na pero late na rin. manipulated na ng PBB ang ratings. sorry sa ating lahat. kinakabahan ako sa mangyayaring eviction mamaya. pansin ko kc, me trend na kung sino nanalo sa wildcard sia ang nagiging champion or winner. just like what happened to erik santos sa STAR in a MILLIon ata. ang alam ko hindi na talaga sia kasama sa finslists nun eh tapos nagkaron ng wildcard at sia ang nahirang na mapasma ulit sa finalist. tapos meron pa isa instance na ganun na hindi ko lang maalala kung sino. nakakatakot na si wendy ang manalo dahil sa nangyayaring trend.
nagandahan din ako sa sinabi ni direk wenn deramas via fonpatch sa uplate last wednesday (i think). sabe nia he’s for bea kc kung ikay nakikituloy lamang sa isang bahay na hindi mo pamamahay, ang usually maippakita mo eh yung totoong magaganda na ugali. pwede ka namang magpakatotoo sa paraang maganda. very well-said, direk wenn. iniisip ko tuloy, ganun nmn talaga pag asa skul tayo, office, ibang lugar, usually maganda ugali naten kc hindi naten alam kung ano pwede ireact ng ibang tao at nakakahiya kung ampanget ng ugali naten.
