Do we really care? Yes, we do!!! Angel Locsin was trained under ABS-CBN‘s workshops but ended up signing with GMA 7. Angel’s star suddenly shone when she decided to pose for the cover of FHM. She was, I believe the first young star to do so. After this, she starred in one tv series after the other: Mulawin, Darna, Majika, and Asian Treasures. She was paired with the most popular leading men of GMA 7: Richard Gutierrez, Dennis Trillo, and even Robin Padilla. Angel, I think is the first homegrown talent of GMA 7. The first of many that they plucked out of anonymity, thrust into the spotlight… with much success.

The Pinoy Big Brother House will open its door soon to celebrities willing to suffer in order to become bigger stars. Hopefully, this time around, the PBB management will choose housemates that are genuinely interesting and not mere eye candies as most of the PBB Season 2 housemates are. We want more of the likes of Keanna Reeves, Rustom Padilla, and even Mich Dulce.

Nominations are now open for the upcoming “Battle of the Loveteams 2007″ poll.

Nominations are now open. Only 10 loveteams will be included in the poll. Please state the whole name of the girl, the boy and their projects together (at least 2). One nomination per IP Address only. A nomination is only cosidered valid if the nominating person sends a picture of the loveteam to chikadorablog[@]gmail.com (minus the brackets). Only valid nominations will be considered for the choosing of the final 10 loveteams to be included in the poll.

Each girl, or boy may only be part of one pair. (Example: Jennylyn Mercado may only be paired with either Mark Herras or Patrick Garcia, not both.)
