Do we really care? Yes, we do!!! Angel Locsin was trained under ABS-CBN’s workshops but ended up signing with GMA 7. Angel’s star suddenly shone when she decided to pose for the cover of FHM. She was, I believe the first young star to do so. After this, she starred in one tv series after the other: Mulawin, Darna, Majika, and Asian Treasures. She was paired with the most popular leading men of GMA 7: Richard Gutierrez, Dennis Trillo, and even Robin Padilla. Angel, I think is the first homegrown talent of GMA 7. The first of many that they plucked out of anonymity, thrust into the spotlight… with much success.
