As a fan of Sylvester Stallone’s “The Contender,” I am very much interested in Cesar Montano and Bayani Agbayani’s new show, Pinoy Mano Mano the Celebrity Boxing Challenge. As the head writer contends, this one ups the ante as celebrities slug it out in the boxing ring. And I agree with him…

Out to challenge ASAP’s Coverboys is GMA 7’s Studs. Studs is an all-male singing group composed of GMA Artist Center Talents. The group is headlined by Starstruck 2 winner Mike Tan. He is joined by Coco Martin, Lance Oñate, Felix Roco (where’s Dominic?), Kevin Santos, Edgar Allan Guzman, JC Cuadrado, and Dion Ignacio.

Kevin and Dion are also Starstrauck alumni, while Felix and JC were ABS-CBN talents. Coco Martin is more famous as an indie film star.
