Glaiza de Castro who was once upon dubbed the “dark Angel Locsin” will finally have her chance to shine. Glaiza, formerly an ABS-CBN Star Magic talent, will now star in GMA 7′s Kaputol ng Isang Awit as Sarah the female protagonist. Kaputol ng Isang Awit is one of my favorite Sharon Cuneta movies. The series will be a good opportunity for Glaiza, who I adore, to showcase her acting and singing talents.
Marky Cielo will play the role of Eric, played by Ton-ton Gutierrez in the movie. I wonder who will play Johnny (played by Gary Valenciano), an important part in the movie. The series will also star Lovi Poe and Jolo Revilla as the series antagonists.
