Pinoy Dream Academy is back ya all!!! With a new host, a new headmaster, and of course… new scholars!
The show is now divided into three, each with a different host. Nikki Gil hosts the updates, Billy Crawford hosts the Uberture every afternoon, and Toni Gonzaga hosts the primetime show. I think all three will host the weekend shows.
Maestro Ryan Cayabyab is now the Head Master and I will watch this show if I can because of him. Jim Paredes was a good Head Master but I think Cayabyab is more interesting to watch because he has made stars out of a lot of people. And he has a more classical training/style (I think). Kitchy Molina and Monet Silvestre are back. I loves it. They’re strict but not only for the sake of being strict. And so is Joey Reyes. He knows talent when he sees it.
And the scholars. Hmmm… The crowd favorite seems to be Bugoy and Christian seems to be this batch’s Rosita Bareng. I don’t have a bet yet.
