After his short break in doing television series, Richard Gutierrez is now back in primetime television. The Philippine version of “Zorro” will premiere on GMA-7’s Telebabad this Monday, March 23, 2009. Richard Gutierrez and Rhian Ramos are on the lead roles. This would be the second time that the two will work together in a television series.
Richard needed to undergo a couple of trainings for fencing and horseback riding for his role – Antonio dela Vega / Zorro. The cast members of the series also attended a workshop with director Peque Gallaga to give them idea on how Filipinos act way back in the 1900s.
Lead stars Richard Gutierrez and Rhian Ramos would be joined by Michelle Madrigal, Bianca King, Jomari Yllana, TJ Trinidad, Eddie Gutierrez, Jacklyn Jose, Joel Torre, Leo Martinez, Pinky Marquez, Lani Mercado, Ricky Davao, Mark Gil, Bobby Andrews, Antonio Aquitana, Robert “Buboy” Villar, Jeffrey “Epi” Quizon, Sandy Andolong among others.
