The band is composed of young musicians from Davao who specialize in music from the 60s and 70s. They band members are Jason Nuere on vocals, Mark Abella on lead guitar, Carlo Dureza on bass, and Dan Paul Muñoz on drums. Their fifth member Joe Azurin Drilon, a keyboardist, was unable to join the competition due to medical reasons.

Andi Manzano, popular as a dj, is a relative of Edu Manzano. She was already introduced in Party Pilipinas last Sunday. Ellen Adarna is a Cebu socialite who has gained internet fame with a huge following. While, Gwen Zamora is a fresh faced half Filipina who has been chosen to be the next Faye in the next Enteng Kabisote movie.

They are sure to sizzle this Sunday, but do they have the chops to make it big? We’ll see.

But who is she, exactly?

Moi Marcampo, dubbed as the “Yayang Palaban,” is Piolo Pascual‘s personal assistant/PA.

She debuted in Kimmy Dora starring Eugene Domingo. Piolo was one of the producers of Kimmy Dora.

She also appears in a Speed detergent ad with Piolo:

It will be interesting to watch her interact with more mainstream celebrities. I think her experience as a PA will serve her well.

The Kapuso Network, GMA, is set to launch three new faces tomorrow on Party Pilipinas: Gwen Zamora, DJ Andi Manzano, and internet sensation Ellen Adarna. The one I’m most familiar with is Ellen Adarna.

Ellen got my attention when my bestfriend, a guy, showed me her Friendster account. As a young Cebuana, Ellen gained fame online via Friendster, MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube.

Due to her internet fame, fake Ellen Adarna accounts spawned everywhere. And she even made a video message for her fakers:

And with her growing cyberfame, Ellen Adarna has graced the cover of men’s magazine, Uno Magazine twice already.
