Vic Sotto confirmed the death of co-host Francis Magalona on their noontime TV show, Eat Bulaga. Fans and supporters can have a last glimpse of his remains at the Christ the King Chapel in Greenmeadows, Quezon City. His wife, Pia Arroyo announced on GMA Network’s primetime news program, 24 Oras the schedule of her husband’s wake. The public viewing of the rapper’s remains will start tomorrow, March 7, 2009 until Tuesday, March 10 from 6am to 6pm. Furthermore, Pia encouraged everyone to send in cash or blood donations to the Philippine National Red Cross instead of sending in flowers and Mass cards.

Francis Magalona is also known as the “King of Pinoy Rap”. It was in August 2008 that he was diagnosed with leukemia and appealed for privacy saying that he doesn’t want a “media circus”.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the late Francis Magalona.

For months, there have been talks about the alleged break-up of Jomari Yllana and Pops Fernandez but the two kept mum about the issue. In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal via phone patch last Mar. 2, 2009, Jomari Yllana admitted that it’s been two weeks that they haven’t talk with each other since their break-up.

The girls team won the Esmyuskee task of Pinoy Big Brother. Their prize is they choosing what they will to eat for dinner.

The boys and the girls are still not permitted to talk to and interact with each other.

Big Brother prepared a game for all the housemates entitled “Snail Raise”. The housemates will whistle so that their assigned snail will move and be able to reach the finish line. Bruce is the winner for the boys and Pooh is the winner for the girls.

First, I would just like to ask the ABS-CBN management…. WHY the hell did you give Michelle Madrigal a supporting role to these amateurs? Naku ha!!! Michelle has already proven she has talent, why demote her???

We all know we watched this episode not because of the story or its technicla aspects but because we want to know how the four Pinoy Big Brother Teens fared.

Olyn did ok except for her voice. She was too shrill and whiny.

Matt gave the best performance. He seemed like a professional.

Brenda was also good but she did not fit her role well. Pero ang ganda niya kanina ha.

Joaqui surprised me. Not because he was good but because he exceeded my low expectations. He was not bad but it was obvious that he is not used to acting he seemed like he was only spurting out memorized lines.

All in all the episode was ok, not bad but forgettable.

I give two thumbs up to the Bituing Walang Ningning Episode last night. Ganda ng story, galing ng acting.

Carlo Aquino played well the role of a torpe, hesistant bestfriend about to court his bestfriend. I really love the Omar-Dorina dynamics here. I became an instant fan of their tandem.

Not to be outdone, Sarah Geronimo was very, very, very convincing as the obssessed pesky fan of Lavinia. And of course, Angelika dela Cruz gave a textured performance as a grateful but annoyed idol. And as usual, Amy Austria was scary as hell.

Gerald, due to his “cheating” in the basura task… is set to go back to the Pinoy Big Brother house earlier than the other housemates.

In my opinion, he should be punished for what he did. He did not actually cheat but he intended to. However, I don’t think he was given the proper punishment. OA naman yata. Feeling ko may binabalak nanamang di mabuti si Big Bro.

The other Big 4 housemates are currently appealing Big Bro’s decision.
