The family drama stars Christopher de Leon and Lorna Tolentino. They play husband and wife, but Christopher leaves the family.

This forces the eldest of their children, Bea Alonzo to help her mother in taking care of her siblings played by Coco Martin, Enchong Dee, and, Miles Ocampo.

Conflict arises when Christopher returns.

Diether Ocampo plays Bea’s lover, while it seems like Shaina Magdayao plays the girl that Coco will get pregnant.

Zanjoe Marudo, Empress Schuck, Lauren Young, and Dionne Monsanto are also in the cast.

Credited with special participation are Igi Boy Flores and Dominic Ochoa.

They heavy family drama’s script is by one of my favorites, Ricky Lee with cinematography by the young Lee Meily.

Other members of the Imortal cast are Chin-chin Gutierrez, Maja Salvador, Precious Lara Quigaman, Gladys Reyes, Francine Prieto, and Lauren Young. I like Precious Lara and Francine and happy that they are on the same show. And oh yeah, another one of my favorites Rico Blanco is also going into tv drama in this show.

It is said to be a continuation of Angel Locsin’s Lobo. In the show, Angel’s character is a shewarewolf while John Llloyd is a vampire, natural enemies. In love with each other.

Reminds me of Twilight, kinda. But whatever! I love both John Lloyd and Angel. Plus Precious Lara, Francine, and Rico Blanco!!! Will definitely watch this.

Vera: I regret to say, walang mangyayaring eleksyon ngayong gabi. For I will not allow it to happen.

Crowd: WHY?

Victoria: At ano nanamang drama nanaman to Vera huh? Dahil alam mong matatalo ka ngayong gabi?

Vera: As I’ve said i have been your president for the past 10 years. At maipagmamalaki kong isa ako sa mga nagsilang ng FDGP. I gave my life fully to you guys. The work of my hands, work of my heart… I offered to this organization completely. But I have to say and I’m being honest, ayoko na. Sabi nga nila some things must come to an end. Siguro panahon na para ibigay ko naman ang buhay ko sa aking totoong pamilya. I miss being a wife. I miss being a mother. And having said that, an election is no longer in order. For I am stepping down and turning over my position to the one I see most fit for the position, Victoria Valera.

Vera pretends to congratulate Victoria…

Victoria: Anong ginagawa mo Vera? Akala mo hindi ko alam na may mga binabalak ka huh?

Vera: This is how you siya thank you, Victoria? Matagal mo na tong pinapangarap diba? Binibigay ko lang sayo.

Victoria: Dahil alam mong maaagaw ko.

Vera: Nooo Victoria! Hindi mo ito makukuha kung hindi ko ireregalo. Enjoy it while it lasts.

WINNER! Vera is a master manipulator. She bows down gracefully from FDGP and wins Manuel’s affection. Or at least tries to.

In the episode, Gelai (Bea Alonzo) helps Chloe (Erich Gonzales) finish her work and they bond with each other. Gelai invites Chloe to her birthday.

The next day, on Gelai’s birthday, Gelai is forced to work. And so is Caloy (Enchong Dee). But Caloy ends up resigning while making emo emo ignoring Gelai. Gelai is sad and Chloe ends up comforting her and convinces her to take the day off.

Gigi (Bianca Manalo) sees and taunts Caloy.

Gigi: Beauty queen ako, di tayo level!

Gigi: Siguro may LQ kayo?

Caloy: Anong LQ?

Gigi: Lots of Quarrels!

Louie (Derek Ramsay) is bored and goes to visit Gelai. Gigi catches him and thinks he is Gela’s boyfriend.

Gelai talks to a lady who tells her she might be able to find Gelai’s older sister.

Manuel (Mark Gil) is forced to face bankruptcy. He is pushed to accept Christian’s (RJ Ledesma) offer to buy more stocks of the Abella Group of Companies. Christian is, in fact, just Victoria’s dummy.

Bianca Manalo, I must say, is a great revelation. I loooove her in Magkaribal. Same goes for Nina Ricci Alagao, who I think is the mole who spies on Vera Couture for Victoria.

Next week: Victoria finally buys majority of the Abella Group of Companies, Louie shows interest in Gelai, and Gelai gets a lead on who her sister is.

I’m not a fan of Wowowee, Willie Revillame, and all the sanctimonious drama it entails so I rarely watch the show. But I got super excited to know the Kanto Boys are hosting it. I love John Lloyd and the group.

Their cute, fun, and funny! I hope they’ll be the regular hosts. I need my daily John Lloyd dose.

GMA 7 is offering a new teleserye to their mga Kapuso. It stars Regine Velasquez, paired with Mark Anthony Fernandez. Regine, obviously, will also be displaying her singing prowess in this show.

Regine will also be pitted with young diva Glaiza Castro. Also in the cast is singer Jaya.

Diva starts airing tonight, March 1, 2010, on the Kapuso Network, GMA 7.

I am very much excited to watch ABS-CBN‘s remake of Rubi… Ang Bidang Kontrabida featuring one of my favorites, Angelica Panganiban.

The character fit Angelica to a T! And her outfits are sooo bongga! I love it. Red is in… it’s sizzling hoooot!

Cherry Pie Picache is also perfect as her mahadera/kawawa/bungangera/loving mother. And Cherie Gil plus Gardo Versoza and Allan Paule is just pure genius.

I’m kinda meh about Shaina Magdayao and Diether Ocampo, but they seem to have been casted well to their respective roles. And wait… is that Wowie de Guzman? LOL! And my other fave Kaye Abad is also in the series.

And Jake Cuenca is Jake Cuenca… eye candy.

Watch out for Rubi… ang bidang kontrabida.

While I am a bit iffy about Bea Alonzo and their tandem, I am still very much excited to watch this…

It’s Star Cinema’s latest pampakilig movie, “I Miss You Like Crazy” by director Cathy Molina-Garcia.

Also in the cast is Maricar Reyes, as… Lloydy’s gf. Interesting plot. I have said it and I will say it again… pwedeng maka-relate??? I know I’m not the only one who can.

And I sure as hell not the only one excited to watch this movie. Star Cinema, please do not disappoint. See you at the cinema on February 24, 2010.
